A 3D snake with a realistic snake + level editor
This is game is based on GL Snake (2003) of the same author. But this game is more enjoyable because it has levels etc..
The game is composed by two applications a player and a level editor.
The player is the actual game part, and allows you to lead the snake inside each level trying to pick up all the items you will meet along your way.
The player supplies two game modes, a classical one and a training mode. The classical game mode lets you advance the game along a predefined sequence of levels, from simple ones with very few obstacles, to more and more difficult levels, with the aim to obtain an high score.
The training mode allows you to improve your skill inside a particual level, and also to test your custom levels.
The editor lets you create your own custom levels by adding
walls, special items, specifying textures and so on.
Controls:
- Left & right arrows: turn snake
- WASD: move camera
- F1: toggle wireframe
- F2: toggle thirdperson/bird's eye view
- F4: toggle fullscreen
The Editor gives you the possibility of creating levels by your own. Note that you should properly put your newly created levels in The "Levels" directory in order to make the player able to actually have visibility of them.
